How will the meeting take place?
The hybrid meeting will mostly take place online. There may be a limited number of seats on-site but for most participants the conference will be streamed live via VIMEO. Several of the speakers will be involved remotely. Others will be participating in Berlin.
We will share the link for the live stream with you after your registration.
Can I participate on-site?
Priority is given to our speakers and moderators as well as the necessary technical staff and the organizing team. We may have room for on-site participants, but cannot be sure, yet. In case you want to participate on-site, please contact events [at] hbm4eu [dot] eu. If your on-site participation is possible, we will contact you. Please do not try to participate on-site without prior acceptance by us.
In case of accepted on-site participation, we strongly recommend checking the current travel regulations in Germany and Berlin. Also please check the regulation for countries you might transit, the regulation of your country of origin (if you have to go into quarantine once you return), and your travel health insurance coverage during COVID-19. Please find the current regulation for Germany here. And the current regulation for Berlin here and here (scroll down to „English archive“ and open the latest version). Both these regulations may be altered at short notice prior to our conference.
Please bring a face mask, as this is mandatory in public transport and buildings in Berlin.
