The yellow bars are distributed over the entire time series, although it is not possible to identify a distinct pattern. The same is true for the blue bars. There is a striking above-average number of blue bars indicated for the 1960s. For the past 10 years there are more yellow bars indicated. The multi-annual mean from 1961 to 1990 amounts to 239.4 millimetres. The linear trend for Germany for the period examined amounts to a decrease by 11.2 millimetres.
