The International Yearbook of Soil Law and Policy is a book series (editor-in-chief: Dr. Harald Ginzky – German Environment Agency) that deals with political and legal aspects of protection and sustainable management of soils. International developments will be analyzed as well as new concepts at national and regional level.
The first volume of the “International Yearbook of Soil Law and Policy” was published in February 2017. The “theme” of this volume is dedicated to the implementation of the objective “land degradation neutral world” of the Sustainable Development Goals – Target 15.3.

The first volume of the “International Yearbook of Soil Law and Policy – Regional Perspectives” with the title “Legal Instruments for Sustainable Soil Management in Africa“ was published in January 2020. It entails 10 chapters and a summary of the results of the workshop in Kampala/Uganda in 2017.
