Interested parties should identify or provide:
- project code number,
- research topic,
- the responsible department at the Agency,
- proof of expertise and capability to take on the proposed topic, e.g. by quoting previous relevant work, publications, scientific work done, as well as proof of sufficient human resources and technical capacity,
- statement of interest in carrying out the project, as well as mention of amount of cost-sharing if applicable.
Please note: In order to ensure prompt processing, UBA kindly requests that separate statements of intent be submitted for each individual project. The departments in charge at the Agency will assess the statements and take them into consideration should competing statements result in a competitive award procedure.
The listing of a project in the Environmental Research Plan 2009 does not imply that it will actually be awarded in 2009. UBA does not send notification to applicants whose statements of intent are not taken into consideration.
