The German Environment Agency (UBA) provides a summary of Germany’s National Air Pollution Control Programme, which was reported to the European Commission via the Central Data Repository on 22 May 2019. Following Article 6 of Directive (EU) 2016/2284 on the reduction of national emissions of certain atmospheric pollutants (also known as the new NEC-Directive) each Member State is obliged to draw up and report a national air pollution control programme.
