Environmental Medicine Commission
The Environmental Medicine Commission of the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) resumed its work in early 2012. So the RKI and the Federal Environment Agency (UBA) can furthermore turn to a panel of recognised experts in environmental health issues and themes for help and advice.
The work of the Environmental Medicine Commission is of great importance not only for the Robert Koch Institute and the UBA, but also for other advisory environmental medical authorities and offices, not to mention clinics and practices. These bodies can refer to the publications of the earlier Environmental Medicine Commission (1999-2008) when it comes, for instance, to offering advice and care to people with environmentally-related health problems.
